Our Ag students are putting their knowledge to practice. The Vet Science Team practices giving shots, learning how to IV sheep and draw blood. Our sheep exhibitors are preparing for an upcoming show and our Ag students are learning how to process broilers. These are lessons students can take with them beyond high school!

#LawtonPS Secondary library staff went on a “Library Crawl” to all of the middle and high school libraries and were able to see all of the amazing things going in libraries across the district! We love seeing the collaborative work between our sites.

The Great Plains Invitational starts this afternoon at the Great Plains Coliseum! All three of our #LawtonPS are in action tonight. Eisenhower plays Newcastle at 4:30 PM, Lawton High faces US Grant at 6 PM and MacArthur closes day one out with Northwest Classen at 7:30 PM! #WeAreLPS
All three games will be streamed on the Oklahoma Sports Network.

LPS Indian Education Liaison, Raylisha Stanley, was selected to be apart of the Oklahoma State Department of Education's focus group for revising the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Social Studies. The Oklahoma Academic Standards for Social Studies Committee met to review and provide feedback on the proposed draft standards. #LawtonPS #WeAreLPS #OklaEd
