Welcome to the LPS Grants Page. The Lawton Public Schools Grants Department supports all LPS students and employees by seeking and facilitating grant funding for various district initiatives.

A Federal program which provides grants to school districts who serve children who live on land exempted from local property taxes by the Federal government and/or whose parents work on exempted land.

A three-year grant from Oklahoma Department of Education which provides additional mental health support and services to our students.

Project AWARE, which stands for Advancing Wellness and Resilience in Education, is a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) 5 year funded grant that has partnered with Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) to bring mental health awareness to youth in schools.

The Project AWARE aims to increase mental health connections, services, and supports to the students and staff of Lawton Public Schools as well as increase partnerships and mental health awareness in the community.
